Meet Our Team
Family-owned. Hands-on leadership. A team that genuinely cares.
The People Behind Rickeston Mill
We are a family-owned nursing home where the people making the decisions are the same people you will meet when you visit. Our leadership team is hands-on, accessible and personally invested in the quality of care we deliver.
Meet Our Home Manager
Lynne Griffiths — Home Manager
I've worked in care for over 20 years, starting as a support worker in 2001. Since then I've held a range of leadership and Registered Manager roles — including running a 66-bed residential home — and hold my NVQ Level 5. Every step has been driven by the same thing: helping people live full, dignified lives, and building homes where residents, families and staff all feel genuinely looked after.
Pembrokeshire has been home for my family for 21 years, so returning to lead Rickeston Mill means a great deal to me. I'm passionate about high-quality care and a warm, welcoming home. My door is always open — please pop in for a chat and a coffee. I'd love to get to know you.
Talk to Lynne GriffithsOur Nurses & Carers
The heart of Rickeston Mill is our team of registered nurses and healthcare support workers.
Registered nurses are on duty around the clock, supported by healthcare support workers with specialist dementia training. Many of our carers have been with us for years, building genuine, trusting relationships with residents and their families.
It is this continuity and warmth — familiar faces who truly know each resident — that families tell us makes the biggest difference day to day.
Our Care Team
Behind our leadership team is a dedicated group of registered nurses, healthcare support workers and ancillary staff who make Rickeston Mill what it is.
Our nursing staff are registered and qualified, with specific training in dementia care. Healthcare support workers — many of whom have been with us for years — develop deep, personal relationships with residents and their families.
We invest heavily in training. Every member of staff receives ongoing professional development in dementia care, safeguarding, medication management and person-centred approaches. We believe that well-trained, well-supported staff deliver better care — and our residents and families see the difference.
